I like helping people write and develop their craft. Some folks who ask for advice or help or what-have-you end up ignoring it. Others take to it and use it and hone some fine instincts for storytelling into a fantastic well-developed skill. It’s a thing of beauty to witness. Anyway, here are some of the “lessons” I’ve found myself giving to others.
