Me, on hearing nathan shuffling around in the kitchen. “What are you doing?”

Nathan, as I distinctly hear a page-turning shuffle. “Um… just looking around.”

“At?”

“This gaming magazine.”

“Oh? The one I got yesterday? Because I am also a gamer, you have a gamer wife and are blessed among men?”

He says, “Wow, you really are full of yourself today, aren’t you?”

My reply, “I’m just trying to see what it’s like to be you.”
