Tell Me Your Most Eclectic Burned CD
July 6, 2007 4:51 pmYesterday, Nathan and I went hiking most of the way up Mount Garfield in the White Mountains. I say ‘most of the way’ because we 1)ran out of daylight from a late start and 2)it started to rain, which meant it would get to too dark even sooner. For you hiker-safety people, we were properly prepared for the conditions, but we chose to keep it as safe as possible.
Yes, even I can be responsible. Photos to be posted later (from the hike, not of my responsiblity!).
Anyway.
On the way home, we popped in a burned CD we found in the CD holder (something not often done as usually it’s the ipod (thanks levesque) we’re listening to, and not the CDs anymore.
However. The radio transmitter for the ipod mysteriously broke itself, and while I assign culpability to nathan, he maintains that he did not break said transmitter. Regardless, as it’s a decent amount of cash, the transmitter has yet to be replaced.
Hence the CD. The Sharpie-scribbled label on the CD was “ROAD” and it had no indication of what songs were considered ROAD songs. So we listened.
Here’s the playlist of the CD:
- Human Behavior— Bjork
- Yeah!— Usher
- Milkshake— Kelis
- Stand Up— Ludacris
- Hey Mama— Black Eyed Peas
- Move Bitch— Ludacris
- Rollout (My Business)— Ludacris
- Kryptonite— 3 Doors Down
- Jumpin’, Jumpin’— Destiny’s Child
- Big Pimpin’— Jay-Z
- Walk Like an Egyptian— The Bangles
- Nookie (For the Nookie)— Limp Bizkit produced by N.E.R.D
- Last Resort— Papa Roach
- Tomorrow Comes Today— Gorillaz
- Dreams— The Cranberries
So, readers of mine (I know there’s a few of you), what’s your most eclectic 15 song playlist?
