Surgery date for my shoulder is now scheduled for May 30th. That’s next Wednesday. Since there’s no fencing that Monday (memorial day), it looks like tomorrow and Thursday are my last two days of fencing until August. (And by fencing, I mean left-handed. I don’t even think about right-handed anymore.)
Holy shit.

Don’t know exactly what sort of shoulder work you’re having done, but I hope your outcome is good. I had a torn rotator cuff repaired last Feb. In April I was kicking myself for having spent big bucks on something that left me less mobile and in more pain. By May the physical therapy started producing results and by late summer the shoulder was fully functional again. Best of luck!
